Synopsis

When we claim to be inspired by personalities from mythology and history, do they only expand our world or also limit them? Why do perspectives passed on by our ancestors also burden us? Making his way from a village to the city, Sanket grew up listening to stories of Bhagat Singh and Karna. Their stories of resilience, perseverance, and sacrifice hold him in good stead until he is faced with his own dilemmas. In times of despair, who influences our decisions? How much freedom do we actually have when we make a choice? 'Adhura' is an attempt to understand the shifts that happen in a person's place in the world, his thoughts and choices.
