Synopsis

A look at marriage in the context of globalisation, at unhindered continuities and inexplicable inequalities, partnerships that are not quite present, social pressures that change but do not go away, and togetherness that springs from surprising places. A look at marriage, across social spheres, and an exploration of how marriage survives being looked at. Amidst all the pressures and the dissatisfactions, the unfulfilled promises within it and the promise of a freer life outside, how and why would a marriage survive? Limbo is a look at three different marriages, across different scenarios and timelines, speaking different languages, and embracing different strategies for survival.
