Synopsis

'Samara’s Song' is a play about politics. In a country called Eos, whose leader has recently died, his son returns home as the people’s favourite. Inner machinations of the leadership and bureaucracy, their dealings with the masses, all eventually lead to murder and a traguc end to a tender love story. The play reflects the politics inherent ina ll human relationships, while underscoring the fact that the ultimate tragedy is of the voiceless, those who remain exploited.
