Synopsis

At a luxurious penthouse in Bombay, a successful film star and her husband are hosting a small dinner party. The guests are her ex-boyfriend – an idealistic filmmaker; a rich industrialist who plans to venture into filmmaking; and the vivacious editor of a woman’s magazine. As the evening progresses, strong undercurrents in the intense yet ambivalent relationships between the characters begin to surface, threatening to rupture the veneer of civilized discussion and sociability. This Madras Players 1992 production includes PC Ramakrishna, Anuradha Rao, Achala Punja, R Amarendran, Kannan and Mohd Yusuf. The play is written by Chetan Shah and directed by Bhagirathi Narayanan.
