Synopsis
Arundhati, written as a tribute to Girish Karnad, picks up from the narrative of Swarnalatha in the play Yayati, and investigates the life of two newly-weds who are torn to shreds by the inquisitions into their past. On their nuptials, the bridegroom Pushkar discovers his bride had a male teacher when she was a young girl, and he starts suspecting her of hiding something from him. His jealousy and line of interrogation lead him to self- destruction.
