Synopsis
A staunch traditionalist landlord, leases his apartment to a newly married couple, and lays down certain rules. Unbeknownst to him, they are staying together without marrying, and have only said so to procure the apartment as a last resort. The landlord and his wife examine them with suspicion at first, confiding their thoughts with the audience, while they, along with the audience, watch the younger couple go through their lives in the usual stages of any other couple. Then, as they begin to like the younger couple, they realize their “terrible secret”. They confront them, which causes the younger couple to take the power of narration in their own hands. And then we see the younger couple’s take on the humdrum life of the older one, as both timelines merge together producing one common scene in the end.
