Synopsis
While wanting to adhere to tradition and religious systems the residents of Cosmopolitan Cooperative Housing Society reveal their deep down prejudices and bigotry against each other, when a bone falls into the balcony of one its residents. The play highlights the farcical and often superficial nature of religious beliefs of various communities. Kalpana the house-help and the "sutradhar", is the voice of reason. She is the person most discriminated against. She is matter-of-fact about her hardships which need to be addressed more than the religious origins of a bone.
